My Journey of becoming a TCM Physician Chap 19: The Pathchangers
So after realizing that the end result of 5 years of hard work was equivalent to almost nothing, what happened to my batch of dreamers and enthusiasts for this Traditional Medicine?
Well, some retook courses and restarted their lives by choosing another path of education and basically started from ground zero. Some went on to take up other jobs like administrative, insurance agents, teachers, etc. Some of us went back to carry on the studies in naïve hope that things could get better after a few more years.
It was basically a trauma to all of us, especially when we were the most passionate about the path that we had chosen. So whatever is happening now in the Covid situation, where people have to take up new jobs, new roles, companies are busted and all that you might have put your sweat and heart into ended up as nothing, that was exactly how we felt. Except that we were a kind and peace batch where we sucked things up and worked our fates around. However it was not so for the next few batches where there were more aggressiveness from the parents and the students, complaining and making it known to the media about how the courses had paved to a bleak future for those enrolled and basically was just a gimmick for $$ at the varsity executive level.
So as I said, things were not as pretty and simple as it looked. But whatever happened, it built us all up to who we were today.
