Prayer and Surrender
Most would believe prayer is asking for something from a higher power outside. You kneel and bow and pray that somewhere somehow the thing or subject that you desire drop into your lap, simply just like that.
Yes we do recognize that higher powers are present, depending on your own beliefs and religions. However don’t you realise the first person that hears your prayer is yourself?
A lot of times, we are just simply not clear of what we want. That’s human. The lack of clarity. But that is what makes life unpredictable and exciting too.
Scientifically, putting your desires into explicit words, spoken or written, imprints into the subconscious. Thereafter the body will be engineered to sway and take the necessary actions it needs to take to bring the desired outcome to reality.
And the interesting part come when a person set an intention but did not surrender and let go enough for things to happen as desired. Because humans have the illusion of control and sometimes this energy of control overpowers that of the prayer. And people then cry out that prayers are not answered.
