Healing Touch: Something that Cannot be Trained or Taught
In my journey of clinical practice, I have met many interesting people along the way – doctors, academicians, writers, nurses, healers, practitioners, teachers, yogis, pagans, empaths. And I have been grateful to have my path crossed with theirs, some which I have the privilege to learn from them and share experiences with.
For me, I love to search out all the masters who are the best of the best in their fields and learn all kinds of methods and techniques from them, then integrating what I learnt into my practice to give the most effective treatment for my patients.
But after a few years of observing and learning from these various masters and my own personal experience, I realise there is something in common: the techniques can be really simple, yet it does the job. Anyone can learn the techniques, but it is that extra something that makes the whole treatment comes to live. Read more about Facial Acupuncture How to differentiate real deal from fakers.
It cannot be trained and it cannot be taught. And it is not entirely dependent on the years of experience as per say. It cannot be replicated with any AI technology. It is more of inborn and innate in human. But it can be developed should it be present already in the person.
I’m privilege to know some people who have this ability, but these people are getting lesser because the thwarted mindsets and principles in our modern society are contaminating and smothering out such innate capability in these people.
If you have someone or know someone who is like what I have described, do treasure them.
Dedicated to all true healers.
