Inner Practice Series: The Grass is Not Always Greener on the Other Side

It is very common that we always envy or maybe become jealous of others who always SEEM TO BE having a better life, a better job, a better partner, a better body … and the list goes on.

But usually and 99.99999% of what we see and believe is not true. In fact a lot of times it can be the direct opposite.

Having been a doctor for decades, I have seen and heard all kinds of stories and experiences of people. What always surprise me is my first impression of them and what they actually are going through are the direct opposite. And this is true for everyone, every time. No matter how rich or beautiful or carefree the person seems to be on the outside, there is always something the person is suffering and unhappy about deep inside.

So live in the moment and focus on working on your own inner happiness.

The next time you are procrastinating that if you were like so and so, how good can that be, remember:

The grass is not always greener on the other side.

With Love,
