TCM Basics 101: TCM Body Clock Stomach 7am to 9am
So after clearing the system between 5am to 7am, what can happen between the next two hours from 7am to 9am?
7am to 9am – Stomach Time
Organs related: Stomach. After clearing the toxins and physical wastes, then more space can be created to receive new positive energy! And the organ that does that is got to be the Stomach which receives energy and nutrients from external sources like food.
What you should do: Eat breakfast, of course! Take wholesome foods such as fruit, protein, low GI carbs, healthy fats and vitamins during this time.
Interesting fact: Many people believe that they can skip breakfast as a way for losing weight and cut down on calories intake. In fact if you skip breakfast and even try to so-called “push back” breakfast to lunch hours, the body misses the time where most energy can be assimilated to drive you through your whole day, leaving you more lethargic throughout the day and causing you to take more foods such as chocolates and sugars to have short boosts of energy but higher calories intake at the end of the day.
