Bazi Fengshui Series: Your Future Is Always In Your Hands

In the past article I wrote on Bazi Fengshui Series: Is your life fated and destined?, I mentioned that fate is the energetic potential and imprints that come with you when you are born. Destiny is what you do with the potential and conditions fated in your life. In other words, what you are born with, the people you meet, the experiences you have in this life are simply the brought over of the seeds of your past actions to your current life span. Bazi and other ancient astrological calculations are the systems our very wise ancestors have come up with that are able to convert a person’s life into elements and do a whole analysis and trajectory projection of the potentials that this person may experience in this life.

And in the other past article I wrote on Bazi Fengshui Series: What is Luck?, I said that luck is the positive results from the ripening of past actions that one has committed, only to be delayed by time and waiting for the right circumstances and conditions to come together for fruition of effects.

As you can see, past or future, it’s all about your actions.

There is no such thing as good luck or bad luck.

In fact, there is no such thing as luck.

All blessings and disasters are cultivated by yourself. No one in this world is unlucky or lucky. They are just self-inflicted.

Destiny is never given by the divine. Is what you cultivate.

You cultivate every blessing. You also cultivate every sorrow.

Every sorrow and mishap are only the ripening of the consequences of the bad causes sown by yourself.

And every blessing is also the reaping of the effects of the good deeds planted by yourself.

In my previous article Bazi Fengshui Series: What You Do Now Determines Your Life, I have mentioned the factors that can have the power to change one’s life.

What has been done in the past is done. We cannot change the past. But we all have the power of now to change the future.  For with every blessing it reduces the effect of the potential occurrence of a disaster.

Yet blessings are not to be obtained through prayers, rituals and even money as many will believe so. Blessings are cultivated.

Here I will share a bit more on how to cultivate as such.

Be kind.

Be a kind person and exist like a light to illuminate others. Your kind deeds will have a positive impact on others. What you give out comes back to you. Sometimes the effect of the kind deeds may come back to you in a different way that you may not recognise, but it will always bring you something good, or even better.

Have patience.

Whatever you have planted, you will reap.

As long as your heart and intention are pure, everything good will happen.

Sometimes blessings will come soon.

Sometimes blessings may not come to you immediately after you have done good.

But when a good deed is done, the seeds of blessings have been quietly sown.

A person’s blessings are not created by a single act of kindness, but are accumulated through daily virtues and kindness, just like one small act of kindness is seen as one drop of water, each drop of water will accumulate over time to an ocean of blessings, returned to you when the time is right.

So have patience.

Cultivate your Heart.

With big heart comes big blessings.

Compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, filial piety, rejoice are some of the ways to cultivate and expand your heart.

Cultivating compassion and empathy will let you feel the suffering of others and ignite the desire to help.

Cultivating forgiveness will help you let go of the past and move forward with life.

Cultivating gratitude will let you recognize your own happiness and achievements do not belong to your own personal efforts and help you to become more selfless and more willing to give back to society.

Of all virtues, filial piety is the most important. Without your parents, you will not be here.

Rejoicing in others’ achievements, talents and success brings back more joy and happiness to you and negates the snake of jealousy which can corrode your heart and spirit.

The future is never fixed.

Blessings or disasters are always a choice.

Your actions now decide your life.

Your future is always in your hands.
