Etiquette as a Receiver- Series 2: When you ask for Discount

Extending from my previous post about Money, let’s deep dive into another etiquette of discussion: when you ask for discount.

As I have mentioned before, money is a form of energy exchange.

In this case, we are using money to get services. For your healing.

Now in the healthcare and healers’ world, you should understand that sometimes what you pay for is not for that 30 min or 1 hr session. It’s the years and years of experience, the talent, in born or trained, the skills that were practiced so well that it can dislodge your physical or emotional blockage with maybe just one single move or twist. So you may be surprise how fast a treatment can be when you are paying for sessions you thought worth way beyond that 30 or 15 min. That is your perception. It is not the length of time that was spent caressing your wound, it is the method and skills and years of effort behind to solve the issue right in the face. So stop being emotionally unbalanced about that.

Having said that, when you ask for a discount from the healer or practitioner, you simply is sending the message that the treatment should be held back, one way or another, that the practitioner does not need to put in full force to help you. Because you want an energetic exchange discount. From a moral standpoint, yes we as healers and practitioners should not do that and we should treat equally and wholeheartedly. But subconsciously, that’s what you are telling us to do and subconsciously we will give what is asked for.

Thirdly, healers and practitioners are not Spirits. We are human and we need to eat, sleep, live and we need to keep the practice running. All these require resources. Unless your healer or practitioner is a multi zillionaire and need no money or he/she is doing it as a part time basis or as a hobby, then you are fumbling with the rice bowl of the healer or practitioner when you ask for discount. The basic respect for your healer and practitioner is immediately eroded when you do that.

Fourth, money is an energy.

When you ask for discount you come from a place of lack and scarcity. And that is what keeping you imbalanced and ill. Your first step to healing is learning to let go and take on a different path as advised to change your life for the better. So when you ask for discount, try to think of how you have been holding things back and blocking everything in your life. It will be hard because you are imbalanced. And if you manage to do so and still ask for discount, it simply means you are not ready to be healed.

So do you really want a discount from a healer or practitioner next time?
