Inner Practice: Spirituality is Physics, Acupuncture is Science

To this day, many still question the workings of acupuncture.

To this day, many also question spirituality and energy.

 

How does acupuncture work?

Acupuncture has its own different set of system which our ancestors have beautifully created to explain its workings in a genius circular model which has no beginning and end.


Modern science have given many attempts to give an explanation of how acupuncture works according to its system. Those attempts that explain it have usually distorted and downgraded the complexity and depth of acupuncture to such a level in order to fit into the oversimplified standards, protocols, terminologies of the system. Those attempts that fail to explain it instead simply wipe off the credits of acupuncture and ruggedly stamping the name of it being just a placebo. But I can tell you that it is not, as backed by my 6 years of post graduate studies on refuting this accusation.

 The very fact is we really don’t have to know how something works to know that it is real.

Think about the Sun.

For thousands and thousands of years, human beings have used the Sun for all kinds of functions, for heat, for warmth, for light, for survival. But human beings at that time did not know what the Sun was. Some thought it is the Egyptian God Ra, some though it was a giant ball of fire.

It’s only in the last 100 years that we understood that the Sun is a great mass of helium and hydrogen going through thermal nuclear reactions. This was only known in the last 100 years. But human beings still use the Sun ever since the birth of civilization.

Similarly with acupuncture, we know it works. And our ancestors did not wait till they could fully explain it to use it.

Energy is real.

Intuition is real.

Spirituality is real.

We cannot explain it. But maybe the future generations might be able to but for now, it should not and could not stop us from being able to use it.

Quoting the physicist Nassim Haramein:

Spirituality is nothing more than physics that we have yet to find the equation for.

While many are still howling at acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine being unscientific, placebo, gimmick or even scam, the merits that the ancient medicines have done for humanity is beyond any commercial conventional medicines. While some can choose to continue scrutinizing and picking on the medicine, I choose to use it to benefit many lives out there.
