Scientific Proof to How your Body react to Acupuncture - Gastritis

Regular frequent sessions of Acupuncture treat Gastritis.

Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is a common inflammatory condition at the digestive system in which the glands of the inner linings of stomach were inflamed and disintegrated. The clinical symptoms can include stomach area pain, fullness, bloating, belching, anorexia, loss of appetite and others. Also the bacteria helicobacter pylori (HP) infection has a remarkable influence on the occurrence of gastritis.

As of now, western medications are still dominant and widely used for treatment of gastritis. However long term western medications such as the proton pump inhibitor can cause other side effects such as the enlargement or swelling at the areas of inflammation of the gastric due to the increase in cells reproduction rate, which can be an initial stage to the development of cancer.

Therefore, many clinicians and patients are turning to alternative holistic treatments such as acupuncture to get treated. A lot of researches have demonstrated the efficacy of acupuncture in treating gastric diseases such as chronic atrophic gastritis. Here are some of them:
