The acupoint is in the depression below the tip of the medial malleolus or the inner ankle bone.

Similar to the rising and falling of the waves, Zhao Hai is a confluent point that opens to the Yin Qiao Meridian that governs the movement of joints and regulating menstrual cycle just like how the moon affects the tides of the sea.
