The name ashwagandha is derived from the word “ashva” meaning horse, and “gandha” meaning smell, referencing the root’s strong sweaty-horse-like odor and its ability to increase strength. The literal translation is “smell of the horse.”
Ashwagandha works on decalcifying and purifying the third eye. The sense of direction will improve as confidence increases with increased mental clarity.
Ashwagandha also brings oneness and peace to the spirit.
Ashwagandha acts as an adaptogen and will liberate you from feelings of stress and change as one transforms the parts of oneself which no longer serves one’s highest good.
