Reishi or Ling Zhi has been used as a herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 2000 years. It is considered as one of the oldest mushroom that is used as a medicine.
The name Reishi or Ling Zhi means a magical fungus, a divine mushroom, an auspicious herb and an immortality plant.
Reishi or Lingzhi is higly regarded by Taoist as the elixir of life for gaining immortality. The herb is thought to increase health and assist in spiritual development.
Ling Zhi was said to “absorb earthly vapors and leave a heavenly atmosphere.”
