Bazi Fengshui Series: Three Areas of Fengshui to Practice on Yourself - Part 1
Everyone possesses three areas of Fengshui that can be practiced and managed on oneself. In fact, these three areas of Fengshui are more important than any other Fengshui areas in one’s home. Manage these three areas well and one will naturally radiate, attracting even fortune, wealth, and nobility. Conversely, if one does not take care of these three areas, one will still be impoverished and plagued by troubles, even if he or she lives on the Dragon’s vein or sleep in the wealth sector. Therefore, it is better to seek fortune and luck from within and cultivate oneself than rely on external. This is the irrefutable truth.
Facial Fengshui
The first area of Fengshui to take care of on your body is your face. This is also known as the "facade or facial Fengshui." We are not talking about where how beautiful or handsome you are. That is actually unimportant. What is important is your “appearance”. This “appearance” comprises of your expression, your facial features, your complexion. As the old saying goes “Your face is the inner reflection of your heart” (相由心生). In other words, your face is the billboard of your inner world, a window to your spirit and soul.
Mouth Fengshui
Let's start with the mouth. As the saying goes, "Diseases enters from the mouth, disasters sprout from the mouth" (病从口入,祸从口出). Therefore the mouth connects us to two crucial life events: health and disaster. Hence the mouth is a crucial gateway to luck and fortune. Some people's mouths are like a "treasure pot." The words that come out from their mouth are soothing and refreshing to the ears. They know how to praise and encourage and make others feel good with their words. Such people are well-liked and everyone is willing to help them. With such good interpersonal relationships, it brings noble fortunes and abundant financial resources for the person with a “good mouth”.
Therefore, maintaining good Fengshui for the mouth is not difficult. Simply control your speech, speak well, speak kindly, and cultivate good words. And don't underestimate the power of this practice. After six months of consistency, observe how your interpersonal relationships and life change completely.
Eye Fengshui
Eyes are the windows to the soul. Whether your heart is light and bright or dull and dim can be seen through the eyes.
For some people, there is no light in their eyes because they always only see problems, difficulties, and the shortcomings of the world and others. Their world is grey, therefore their eyes are dim. Such people are most likely narrow-minded as well, hence they may also find it difficult to achieve great things.
On the other hand, there are some people who have clear, gentle, and firm eyes. There is a sense of ease when we look into their eyes. They always see the positive side of the world and others. They see opportunities and they see the strengths of others. Their hearts are always filled with love and hope, therefore we can see spirit in their eyes. This spirit is vital energy. When a person has vital energy in their eyes, they will be particularly powerful and attractive.
Therefore constantly ask yourself, “What are my eyes looking at? Do I view the world with appreciation or with a criticism?” What you see is what your world is. If you transform this ability to see the good, your eyes will change, your appearance will change, and your Fengshui will naturally transform.
Conclusion of Facial Fengshui
Therefore what you say to the world with your mouth and what you see of the world with your eyes determine your Fengshui.
There is a saying "Harmony brings wealth (和气生财)". Harmony here means your overall state of mind is peaceful and joyful. When your mind is peaceful and joyful, you will also look peaceful and joyful on the outside. And this will attract good luck and wealth. Conversely a person with a sad, gloomy face is hard to attract anything good.
So, the first area to consider in your Fengshui is your face. This is not about getting plastic surgery, but rather about "transforming your heart."
