Women's Health Series: Menopause and Adrenal Fatigue

The adrenal glands are the body’s primary “shock absorbers” and they sit on top of the kidneys. They are designed to produce hormones that allow us to respond to the conditions of the daily life in healthy and flexible way, with energy, enthusiasm and efficiency.

But if the intensity and frequency of the stresses in our life, from either inside yourself or outside yourself become too great, then over time the adrenal glands will begin to become exhausted, also known as adrenal fatigue.
